for years my mum kept using the description "juice" to mean stingy, miserly. it wasn't until recently we realised she was referring to a certain ethnic group. this is quite like the way we conduct our travels as well, slightly stingy and miserly, looking out for the most value-for-money deals. presenting, a juice vacay.

Toyota Rent a Car
midterms were barely over and our final exams are in less than 3 weeks! didnt have much time to plan but so far we've secured our car rental frm TOYOTA Rent a Car Sapporo, served by a very nice lady Ms Sayaka Hanada.
Time & Date of rental: Jul 20 2008 8:00am
Time & Date of return: Jul 25 2008 6:00pm
Place of rental : Sapporo station east branch
Place of return : Kushiro branch
Car type : P1 Non-Smoking
Total cost: 46,850JPY
*note to myself to go down to Automobile Association to get my international driver's license.
we've also made reservations for guest rooms in the furano area. even though Yamasan doesnt look very appealing, it was very affordable and reviews raved abt the good food and homely feel. we also decided to book Popura cos tobias had a very good impression of it.
even though these residences cost close to S$100 per pax per night, im really thrilled just by looking at the pictures and comments provided by taiwanese travellers who've visited. and its going to be so beautiful being able to wake up in a small quaint house in the middle of lush lavender fields. of course, their intricately prepared breakfast and dinner sets are also going to be a major plus. will take plenty of photos to prove my point!
